Pastor Marvin McKenzie was inspired to write his devotional book to reach out to people and preach the counsel of God.

Marvin McKenzie is a pastor for the Bible Baptist Church in Puyallup, Washington. He has been in the Baptist Ministry for over thirty years and has planted pastored churches in Washington and in Oregon.

On top of his pastoral ministry, Marvin has also been active in training for the Baptist Ministry and has also served as the Vice President of the Western States Baptist Bible Fellowship, The Board of Directors for Pacific Coast Baptist College of San Dimas, California, the Dean of Men at Pacific Coast Baptist College of San Dimas, Executive Vice President of Pacific Coast Bible Baptist College of San Dimas, and Executive Vice President of Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City.

Marvin is married to Anita and they have two sons who are bothe Baptist Pastors in Washington State.
