City of Ammon, Idaho purchases AccuBatch brine maker to prepare for upcoming winter season

AMMON, Idaho. As the next winter season quickly approaches, the City of Ammon, Idaho is turning to liquids and anti-icing to help stay one step ahead of the snow and ice to come. To make sure they are prepared, the city has purchased a new brine maker and is gearing up their equipment and crew for what could be another long and snowy season.

The system they purchased, the AccuBatch brine maker, is manufactured by Cargill Deicing Technology. Capable of producing up to 800 gallons per batch, the AccuBatch brine maker is the only model at its price point to feature automated, direct salinity concentration measurement. This will save the city valuable labor time and guarantee the proper salinity concentration with every batch they produce.

The plug and play design of the AccuBatch brine maker allows for easy setup and operation. In addition, the cleanout process takes only minutes to complete and can be done simply by pulling on a lever to open a valve that releases excess salt and sediment. Made from marine-grade fiberglass, this two tank design is durable, dependable and a very cost-effective way to make salt brine.

The AccuBatch brine maker is the second brine making system to be offered by Cargill Deicing Technology, joining their fully-automated system, the AccuBrine automated brine maker.
