SMi’s 6th annual COPD event will spotlight on key areas such as regulation, exacerbations, patient care, challenges in drug development, market access and depression in COPD.
The panel of speakers includes respiratory specialists from the MHRA, AstraZeneca, Chiesi, Bayer, Novartis and Teva.
The conference, set to take place across 2 days on 20th and 21st October, will be opened by a keynote address from the MHRA entitled: Regulatory perspective in clinical development of medicines for COPD, hosted by Nithyanandan Nagercoil.
The senior medical assessor will speak on regulatory expectations, providing an overview into EU versus US requirements and giving updates on recent advances, providing both legal guidance and a clinical perspective to the event.
