Nano Magnetics Sponsors Canada-wide "Let’s Talk Science" STEM Competition
Let’s Talk Science Challenges are being hosted across 23 Canadian universities throughout Spring 2014. The challenges offer a competitive and fun event for Grades 6-8 students to improve literacy and involvement in STEM, build their team skills, interact with relevant role models and test their abilities against peers.
The founder of Nano Magnetics, Tim Szeto, will be an honorary judge at the York University event on May 23, 2014. Spirit Award winners across Canada will receive a set of Nanodots GYRO duos.
“This Let’s Talk Science initiative is a great opportunity. It encourages hands-on creativity and team building for science, technology, engineering and math challenges. The future leaders of tomorrow need more than a basic understanding of STEM studies, they need to love it and live it intuitively as well,” said Tim Szeto, founder, Nano Magnetics.
