WINDExchange Honors Wind Leadership

The following awardees were honored at the WINDExchange Summit in Las Vegas on May 5:
- Outstanding Wind Leadership in Education Award: Ruth Douglas Miller, Kansas State University, for ongoing extraordinary efforts to advance wind energy education
- Outstanding Partner Award: American Wind Wildlife Institute, for continuing efforts and successes in supporting responsible development of wind energy while protecting wildlife and wildlife habitat
- Small Wind Leadership Award: Tal Mamo, United Wind, for visionary leadership in implementing new leasing models for the distributed wind industry
- Western Regional Leadership Award: Renewable Northwest Project, for consistent leadership in paving the way for responsible wind development in the Northwest
- Midwestern Regional Leadership Award: Haley Estes Roberto, Harvest the Wind Network, for innovative work and determination in promoting wind energy development in the Midwest
- Eastern Regional Leadership Award: Fara Courtney, U.S. Offshore Wind Collaborative, for extraordinary dedication and successful collaboration laying the foundation for offshore wind energy deployment on the Eastern seaboard.
