Ethernet Technology Summit 2014 Announces Google CTO to Keynote

Geng Lin, CTO of Corporate Networks at Google, will present May 1, 2014 2:30-3:00 at Santa Clara Convention Center

SANTA CLARA, CA, USA, April 18, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Ethernet Technology Summit (ETS) today announced Geng Lin, CTO of Corporate Networks of Google, will present “The Role of SDN in Enterprise Cloud Networking”. The keynote is scheduled for 2:30-3:00 p.m. PST on Thursday, May 1, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

As CTO of Corporate Networks at Google, Geng leads the development of enterprise networking architecture to support the cloud-based IT service model both within Google and with Google cloud customers. He was previously CTO of Networking Business (and Dell Fellow) at Dell where he led technology strategy, system architecture, product innovation, and partnership and acquisition of key technologies. A 20-year veteran of the networking industry, he has prior experience with Cisco, Netopia, and Nortel. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.
