New Burger Franchise offers Customers Fresh Burgers and Wraps from a Mobile Food Concession Trailer.

Wilmington, VT — (July 28, 2010) ZooHoo's Eatery, a Wilmington, VT-based mobile food concept was lauded today by Governor James Douglas (VT), who was on-hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon marking the company's grand opening. The company recently completed its franchise development program and is beginning to grant single-unit and multi-unit franchises. The unique mobile food service franchise is the first of its kind to offer a fast-casual dining experience to customers using a custom designed food trailer.

The owners of ZooHoo's Eatery are Adam and Karen Grinold, who Governor Douglas described as "having tremendous potential with connecting to local farmers and food providers through the Vermont Fresh Network," Douglas said. "Their creativity could make them the next Ben and Jerry's," he added. Governor Douglas previously presented the Grinolds with the Brattleboro Development Corporation's 2009 first place business plan award recognizing their outstanding concept.

The low cost mobile food service franchise features quality hand-patted grass-fed burgers, fresh vegetable wraps, hand-cut French fries, and quality soft serve ice cream. In creating ZooHoo's, the Grinolds recognized the tremendous opportunity that existed to be the first company to offer a complete mobile food service franchise system. Stephen Vandegrift, franchise consultant to ZooHoo's and President of FranSource International, stated, "With the increasing opportunity in the U.S. for mobile food service operators, ZooHoo's turn-key mobile food service franchise is perfectly positioned to meet the growing demand."

Adam Grinold, President, discussed why he believes ZooHoo's Eatery is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in owning a fast-casual restaurant: "Our concept permits a franchisee to open and operate a fast-casual restaurant at a substantial discount over a traditional brick-and-mortar restaurant. As the new Burger Franchise restaurants are mobile, franchisees also have the ability to relocate within their territory as new opportunities arise."

ZooHoo's Eatery offers three different franchise models. The Weekend Warrior is designed for fairs, carnivals, festivals and similar events. The Semi Permanent Franchise is modeled after the company's current location in Wilmington, and is located on properties leased or owned by the Franchisee. The Storefront Franchise is designed for strip malls and other free-standing retail locations.
