Philosys, Inc. announces that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted 510(k) clearance for the Gmate® VOICE Blood Glucose Monitoring System. With its sleek modern design and large 2.5” screen, the Gmate® VOICE has the look and feel of a smartphone. “This meter is designed to connect diabetics in many new ways due to its intuitive smartphone-like interface,” says James Winchester, Director of Marketing for Philosys. “We are confident this design advance will become the standard for all new meters,” Mr. Winchester elaborated.

Designed for diabetics, the Gmate® VOICE uses Real Voice Technology to clearly announce blood glucose readings. In the United States, the Gmate® VOICE will be available in English and Spanish (additional languages available for appropriate markets).
