New York – The daughter of former U.S. president Bill Clinton, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton married her longtime boyfriend over the weekend. As reported by Reuters, Chelsea Clinton wed Marc Mezvinsky in an extravagant ceremony in New York on Saturday.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are quoted in the report as releasing the statement about their daughter’s wedding, “Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends.”
The Clinton’s are further quoted as saying in the statement, “We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family.”
