July 27, 2010 -- Branching out from video games, Sony Computer Entertainment is making a push to plaster the PlayStation logo everywhere. The company has announced a new PlayStation "Logo Licensing Program" with which it will extend the PlayStation brand to apparel and everyday items.
With this Official Licensing Program, licensees will be able to design their product using the PlayStation logos. The program is applicable to a variety of lifestyle products such as apparel, accessories, house wares and more, with Sony providing an "Official Licensed Product" logo for the product.
According to Sony, third-party companies will enrich the company's licensed product line-up and deliver various quality lifestyle products that will make the PlayStation brand more accessible than ever.
