Plainfield - B2B companies looking for authentic eco friendly retail or industrial packaging have a new resource. The Green Packaging Group website (http://www.greenpackaginggroup.com/), launched earlier this month, is the first green packaging supplier directory designed specifically for the B2B market. Developed by five leading U.S. distributors of sustainable packaging, the new site features a detailed product guide and a green packaging blog with in-depth analysis of packaging products and applications.
"The B2C online space is loaded with green buying guides, but there's not much out there for B2B," said Dennis Salazar, creator and owner of GreenPackagingGroup.com. "With the launch of our new site, B2B companies have a single destination for comprehensive information about sustainable packaging products and industry developments. The other participating companies are as deeply committed to sustainable packaging as we are, and bring their own unique products and perspective to the project."
Salazar's firm, Salazar Packaging, Inc., is one of five charter members of the Green Packaging Group. The other members are Distant Village Packaging, Chicago, IL; Nashville Wraps, Hendersonville, TN; Eco-Bags Products, Inc., Ossining, NY; and Globe Guard Products, the online sales division of Salazar Packaging.
The group welcomes inquiries from sustainable packaging firms that are interested in becoming members and featuring their products on the site.
Current Green Packaging product categories include bags, baskets and containers, boxes, cushioning, films and wraps, labels and tags, mailers, envelopes, stationary, paper, ribbon and cord, and tape.
